Providing world-class STEM education and quality nutrition to economically disadvantaged children across Africa.
Explore Our Pilot ProjectThe Nekon Education Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria, dedicated to transforming education and child development across Africa. We focus on early exposure to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through modern curricula and strong nutritional support.
Our goal is to equip African children with the intellectual tools, confidence, and health they need to compete on a global level. We are currently based in Nigeria, with our international representative residing in Portugal, facilitating global partnerships and donor engagement.
We adapt global STEM curricula for African contexts, ensuring children learn the same skills as their peers in elite institutions worldwide.
Children in our programs receive nutritious meals meeting WHO standards to enhance learning, focus, and growth.
We build capacity in schools through teacher training, ICT setup (solar-powered), and provision of modern educational tools.
Pilot launch: January 2026 | Location: Akwa Ibom, Nigeria | Duration: 5 years | Seeking Year 1 funding
Our flagship initiative aims to sponsor 15 primary school children from low-income communities, providing them with advanced STEM education similar to what elite schools in the US and Europe offer. Alongside this, the program ensures each child receives balanced daily meals.
The pilot will set up solar-powered ICT infrastructure including computers, tablets, internet, and educational software. We will provide regular reports, including quarterly video updates to donors.
